An upgraded model with a more dynamic character

The upgraded R1 takes the original model further. Compared with the base version’s 8 kW, it delivers 10 kW of peak power, while rear-wheel torque increases from 330 to 390 Nm. It does so while retaining a low weight of 59 kg including the battery.

The enhanced equipment also includes a 2″ TFT display, mobile app and Sport+ mode. The result is an R1 with more power in reserve and greater scope to tailor its riding response.

Electric pulling power you will enjoy

Instant throttle response is one of the biggest attractions of an electric enduro. In its unrestricted configuration, the R1 offers up to 10 kW of peak power and up to 390 Nm of torque at the rear wheel. You will appreciate its responsive power delivery when accelerating out of corners, climbing hills or practising off-road.

The motor is managed by an FOC controller. Eco, Sport and Sport+ modes let you choose the riding response to suit the situation and your experience. The R1 can deliver a relaxed pace or a sportier character whenever you feel like picking up the pace.

Range reaches up to 120 km at 25 km/h, with a charging time of approximately 4 hours. Actual range depends on speed, elevation changes, surface, temperature and load. It will be shorter during sporty off-road riding.

A chassis ready for off-road riding

The FastACE front suspension with 200 mm of travel is complemented by a rear shock with an 85 mm stroke. Together, they help absorb uneven terrain so you can focus on controlling the motorcycle and choosing your line.

19″ wheels front and rear with 70/100-19 tyres support the R1’s off-road focus. 268 mm of ground clearance provides room when tackling obstacles and riding over uneven surfaces.

Hydraulic brakes and regenerative braking

Braking is handled by hydraulic disc brakes with 203 mm discs front and rear. Their effect is complemented by regenerative braking, which returns some energy to the battery during deceleration.

The RERODE R1 L1e is a type-approved version for road use with a maximum design speed of 45 km/h. The required driving licence depends on the country of use; check the local rules for category AM and category B licence holders. The exact rated power of the approved version is stated in the individual vehicle’s documents.

The unrestricted R1 configuration offers up to 10 kW of peak power, up to 390 Nm of rear-wheel torque and a top speed of up to 85 km/h. These specifications do not apply to the approved road configuration. The derestricted configuration is intended solely for off-road use, for example on closed enduro tracks or private land where such use is permitted. When derestricted for maximum speed, the motorcycle is not approved for road use.
