RERODE R1+ L1e arrives as an upgraded model for 2027. This compact electric enduro, with its distinctive design, lightweight aluminium frame and sporty chassis, is ready to turn every ride into an experience. Off-road, you will appreciate its agility; on the road, you can enjoy riding in its approved L1e configuration.
At the heart of the R1+ is a combination of a weight of 68 kg including the battery, a powerful electric drivetrain and 19″/18″ wheels. Add a battery with Samsung cells, adjustable suspension and modern controls, and you get a motorcycle that will keep you coming back for another ride.

The R1+ delivers the immediate response of an electric drivetrain and strong pulling power that you will enjoy on climbs and when accelerating out of corners. RERODE delivers 17 kW of peak power and up to 500 Nm of torque at the rear wheel. Combined with its low weight, these figures give this compact machine a distinctly sporty character.

A weight of 68 kg including the battery means easier handling and less mass when changing direction. You will especially appreciate the aluminium frame, 1280 mm wheelbase and compact dimensions in tight corners and technical sections.
The 19″ front wheel helps tackle uneven terrain, while the 18″ rear wheel with its wider tyre complements the motorcycle’s off-road focus. 268 mm of ground clearance provides room when riding over obstacles, while the 845 mm seat height maintains the machine’s compact proportions.
A Samsung battery ready for spirited riding
The 72 V / 40 Ah lithium-ion battery uses Samsung 50S 21700 cells and offers a nominal capacity of 2.88 kWh. The R1+ features cells with a high discharge rating of 5C, meeting the demands of a powerful electric drivetrain.
The claimed range reaches up to 120 km at 25 km/h. Charging takes approximately 4 hours. Actual range depends on speed, elevation changes, surface, temperature and load; it will be shorter during sporty off-road riding.
Adjustable suspension for your riding style
The front suspension offers 200 mm of travel with adjustable low-speed and high-speed compression damping. This allows its response to be better matched to the rider and terrain – from gradual chassis loading to sharper impacts on uneven surfaces.
The rear shock has a stroke of 85 mm. Together with the front fork, it forms a suspension setup that lets the rider find the right balance of comfort, support and sporty performance.
Hydraulic brakes and regenerative braking
The RERODE R1+ uses hydraulic disc brakes with a 220 mm front disc and a 203 mm rear disc. Regenerative braking also assists during deceleration, returning some energy to the battery and complementing the mechanical brakes.
Modern controls and easier ownership
The 2″ TFT display is complemented by mobile app connectivity. USB and USB-C ports add practicality by powering small electronic devices. Riding modes give the motorcycle flexibility for different situations and experience levels.
The electric drivetrain provides quiet operation without the noise and exhaust fumes of a combustion engine. There is no need to refuel with petrol or change engine oil. Regular care of the chain, brakes and chassis remains part of ownership, but you can focus more on what matters most – the ride itself.
L1e version for road use
RERODE R1+ L1e is a type-approved electric motorcycle for road use. In its approved configuration, it has a nominal power output of 4 kW and a maximum speed of 45 km/h. An AM or B driving licence is sufficient to ride it.
Once derestricted, the unrestricted R1+ configuration offers up to 17 kW of peak power, up to 500 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and a top speed of up to 95 km/h. In this configuration, the motorcycle is intended exclusively for off-road use, for example on closed enduro tracks or private land where such use is permitted. The derestricted configuration is not approved for road use.
